Official Meeting with IOC President Dr. Thomas Bach

A delegation from the Egyptian Olympic Committee consisting of Eng. Hesham Hatab (NOC President), Dr. Alaa Meshref (NOC Vice President), Dr. Alaa Gabr (NOC Secretary General ( and Eng. Sharif ElErian (NOC Executive Board  Member) were in Lausanne from 17 – 19 September 2015 in a quick visit to meet with IOC President, Dr. Thomas Bach and a number of IOC top official to discuss the current status of the Olympic Movement in Egypt and the development witnessed by Egyptian sports during the past couple month. This visit is intended to discuss the best possible ways to see the sport and the Olympic Movement in Egypt progressing in an optimal manner and overcome the setbacks which characterized the first half on this year.
